ERIKS UK is the leading name in industrial parts in the UK, and part of the ERIKS group, Europe's largest industrial products specialist. ERIKS deliver a range of specialist industrial products such as bearings, seals and belts direct to UK customers, and via a network of 40 plus regional branches.

ERIKS selected the Empirica WMS from Chess after a detailed selection process which involved careful evaluation of their own needs and the ability of potential suppliers to deliver them. Empirica was chosen for its high level of functionality, and because of the flexible approach taken by Chess to ERIKS' specific requirements.

Empirica manages three different storage areas within ERIKS' Halesowen warehouse which include palletised, shelf-based item storage and a specialised automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS). Empirica employs hand held RF terminals for picking and features an unusual, purpose-designed interface between ASRS and WMS systems.
