IXact

Creating interfaces to external (e.g. ERP) systems, is a key part of WMS implementation, which can involve time, cost and complexity. Using Empirica IXact, an advanced module for rapid interface development, these are drastically reduced.

IXact is a configurable solution for creating common interfaces between Empirica and external systems. IXact allows in and outbound interfaces to be created using flexible design processes. This has a significant impact on time taken to achieve an integrated solution, reducing cost and leading to faster implementation.

The module will process in and outbound ASCII files stored locally, or transfer from and to remote machines using FTP transfer. It may be used in conjunction with other specialist software products, allowing file conversion to or from alternative protocols (TRADACOMS, EDIFACT) when transmitted or received via proprietary networks or the Internet.
