Fylde Cold Stores selects Empirica WMS across all depots

Fylde Cold Stores Ltd has implemented the Empirica WMS system at its depots in Preston and Fleetwood, Lancs. Fylde Cold Stores is part of the Marr Group and offers a range of frozen and chilled storage, consolidation and distribution services.

Fylde Cold Stores has operated at the Preston site since 1986 and offers facilities from its current 12,000 pallet capacity store. The Fleetwood site is also the location of the company s ice manufacturing business which supplies high quality pre-packed ice to the retail and food service markets.

The Empirica WMS system is also in use at Seguro Logistics, an associate company which operates a cold store at Langthwaite Grange, near Doncaster, South Yorks.
